Brief

For my AS Media coursework I am being assessed on:

• my ability to plan and construct a media product using appropriate technical and creative skills (AO3)
• my knowledge and understanding in evaluating my own work, showing how meanings and responses are created (AO2)
• my ability to undertake, apply and present appropriate research (AO4)

The tasks are as follows:

1. Film a short scene, demonstrating the techniques of match on action, shot-reverse-shot, the 180 degree rule.
2. Our main task is to create the titles and opening of a fiction film, to last two minutes. This blog  is focused mainly on this.
3. Create a blog to associate with both of these tasks, and demonstrate knowledge of theory, film techniques, audience and their uses. I must also demonstrate knowledge of horror generally.
