Famous horror movies and their fonts

Fonts are important for horror films, because they set the tone for the film that follows. Below are a number of fonts used for famous horror films. Noticeably, all of them are on a black background and use dark colours on them, other than Scream which uses white, but has a deep red glow which then turns to a dark red. Only Halloween uses an image and the director's name, but the pumpkin is a convention of horror and hence adds effect. The dark lighting is also a reflection of a typical horror film, as it equates to fear.
